It’s already sat for a few months, what’s a few months more? Crazy neighbors have moved out (YAY.) That means I have ample driveway room to shuffle things and move it into the carport. There I can do some needed rust removal until spring, if I don’t have a little cash by then I can set apart some of my tax return to work with.
Finally cleared (most) the snow off her tonight.
Why is it still here? There seem to be 2 main reasons:
1. Anyone looking for a project truck wants one with zero rust. People looking for a parts truck mainly want a rust free tailgate.
2. I’ve been way too busy the last few months to get it sold. If a potential buyer calls rather than texts, it basically guarantees I’ll never get back to them.
3. The universe wants me to have this truck, who am I to go against that?
4. This truck is too awesome and scares people away from buying it. They know they just can’t handle the amazing.
5. I can’t count.

Interesting that you’re more likely to respond to a text than a call. I’m the opposite, I normally ignore texts. I get far more “tire kicker” texts than calls.

It’s just easier to send a text no matter what I’m doing. I can send a quick reply at work or eating and whatnot.

The problem with phone calls is that I get a lot of people’s fraudulent sob stories.
